Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of talk therapy for people who experience emotions very intensely. It can often be beneficial for those who have gone through various traumatic experiences and helps to focus on some level of acceptance.

Art therapy involves using creative methods such as drawing, painting, pottery, poetry, theater, etc. to help people express themselves artistically and examine their artistic expression through a psychological lens. Art therapy can also be therapeutic and healing and with the guidance of a therapist, clients can understand their emotions better and create an appropriate healing process.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy is a type of experiential mental health treatment that involves developing a relationship with a horse and working through mental health struggles as the horse provides consistent and immediate feedback on client behaviors. Equine-assisted psychotherapy can help with victims of trauma, those on the autism spectrum, and anyone struggling with emotional processing issues.
